Goodreads Synopsis
Beckon the sea,
I'll come to thee....
Shed seven tears,
perchance seven years....
At the age of ten, Gwen Cooke had a strange encounter with a boy with dark, slightly tilted eyes. He came to her on the beach, whispered strange words in her ear, and then disappeared. Shortly thereafter, her family moved away from their seaside home and Gwen never saw the boy again.
Now seventeen, Gwen is returning to her childhood home. Her nana asked her to come. But Gwen knows it's time to go back for another reason: She yearns for the sea. Perhaps the sea itself is calling to her. Perhaps the memory of the boy and his haunting words are drawing her back to the place they met. Perhaps it's time for her to face her destiny.
Review

I realy liked this book. The point that the strange person had to 'fight' for her interest. I like selkies too, theres something different about them.

But I didn't like the ending. That ruined it for me. I would've liked to sea that she came with him or that he stayed there, for her. That he could be different and that he didn't need to leave for seven years. But neither of the happend. That's why I only gave it 3 stars, otherwhise it would have gotten 4.

Goodreads Synopsis
Tempest Maguire is happy with her decision to embrace her mermaid nature and live among her mother’s clan within the ocean’s depths. Even though training to one day ascend the throne for the aging mermaid queen is rigorous, she finds refuge in the arms of Kona, the selkie who first opened her up to her mermaid side. But when word comes that one of her brothers has been gravely injured on land, Tempest immediately rushes to his side—which also brings her back to her old flame, Mark. And in her absence, a deadly battle begins raging at the hands of Tempest’s old nemesis, the sea witch Tiamat. As the dangerous war erupts, Tempest’s two loves—Kona and Mark, sea and land—will collide for the first time, both to protect her and to force her to choose.

Review
Tempest Unleashed is the second book in the serie Tempest. It is again an YA book. The book is situated in 2 locations. In the water and on the land, It is separated evenly. Tempest Rising is mostly situated on the land.

The main character is again Tempest, a 17 year old girls that chose to live her live into the waters. The second main character is Kona. The book doesn't tell the story from his pov but he appears frequently. He is the loved one of Tempest. But she also loved Mark, her ex-boyfriend. It is a love-triangle.

The basic is the story before, that book reveales a lot of the live of Tempest. We learn in this book parts of the life of hte mother of Tempest. The book also tells al littel more about Tiamat, the seawitch. There's a lot of background information that clears the story,

I didn't really love the story, I'm a little dissaponted. Mostly because it started so slow. You can seperate the book in 3 parts. Part 1 is Tempest & Kona, part 2 is Moku the brother of Tempest and part 3 is Tiamat. I liked part 3 of the book, the part with the most action. But you wouldn't understand everthing if you don't read the whole book. We could also expect the ending, because there's a 3th book.

Cover: 4/5
Again is the cover amazing!
Main character: 3/5
Romance: 2/5
I'm not a fan of love-triangles
Action: 3/5 .
Totale: 3/5
This wasn't one of my favorite books, but I would read the last one, hoping that that one is a little better than this one.

Goodreads Synopsis
Tempest Maguire wants nothing more than to surf the killer waves near her California home; continue her steady relationship with her boyfriend, Mark; and take care of her brothers and surfer dad. But Tempest is half mermaid, and as her seventeenth birthday approaches, she will have to decide whether to remain on land or give herself to the ocean like her mother. The pull of the water becomes as insistent as her attraction to Kai, a gorgeous surfer whose uncanny abilities hint at an otherworldly identity as well. And when Tempest does finally give in to the water's temptation and enters a fantastical underwater world, she finds that a larger destiny awaits her-and that the entire ocean's future hangs in the balance.

Review
Tempest is an YA fantasy book. The genre I love. The book contains mytical creatures. Three times to guess what creature. Good geuss, mermaids!!. But that's not everything. But that's not everthing. There's so much mor in Tempest Rising.

The main character in Tempest Rising is of course Tempest. She is a sixteen year old girl. Tempest has two yonger brothers en a dad that she loves very much. She also has a boyfriend en she loves to surf.
But within a couple af days she becomes 17. The age she has to make a choice. A choice she doesn't want to make.

Tempest lives close to the sea. Her mom loved the sea. In every room theres a glasswall.
Tempest is 11 years when her moms leaves her. She wrote a letter to each of her kids. A letter Tempest reads zo many times, that she knows every word of it.
There was just he enough amout of backgroud information. We knew what Tempest knew, it was a search for us to.

The book was easy to read. It was written from Tempest point of view, so it was easy to lose yourself in the character. The feelings and toughts of Tempest are

Cover: 4/5
I love the cover, she says something about the book, but not to much. And purple is one of my favorite covers.
Main character: 5/5
Romance: 4/5
Action: 3/5
There were a couple of good action scenes.

It was a book that took my intrest and I want to read the next one: Tempest unleashed

Tempest Revealed + New serie

I couldn't sleep yesterday, so i did the only think i could think of: Jumping and dancing to loud music.
No, I would wake my family then and we don't want that :D.
I started to read and is stopped around 3 o'clock in the morning.

The best part was that I couldn't stop. I didn't like the ending though. But I could expect that because theres a thirth  book in the series. I'm going to write a review today or tomorrow. But I don't know if I'm going to translate him in englisch, that's a lot of work. But I should do it, even as all the other things I have translate.

I decided to read the last boek in the Tempest Serie. I liked the last part of the book.

Enough about that, I discovered a new series. And I have to thank Goodreads for that. When you click here, you will see it.The serie is called Watersong. And Wake is the first book, there's also a prequel, but I don't know which one I should read first.

Goodreads synopsis of 'Wake'
Fall under the spell of Wake—the first book in an achingly beautiful new series by celebrated author Amanda Hocking—and lose yourself to the Watersong.

Gorgeous. Fearless. Dangerous. They're the kind of girls you envy; the kind of girls you want to hate. Strangers in town for the summer, Penn, Lexi and Thea have caught everyone's attention—but it’s Gemma who’s attracted theirs. She’s the one they’ve chosen to be part of their group.

Gemma seems to have it all—she’s carefree, pretty, and falling in love with Alex, the boy next door. He’s always been just a friend, but this summer they’ve taken their relationship to the next level, and now there’s no going back. Then one night, Gemma’s ordinary life changes forever. She’s taking a late night swim under the stars when she finds Penn, Lexi and Thea partying on the cove. They invite her to join them, and the next morning she wakes up on the beach feeling groggy and sick, knowing something is different.

Suddenly Gemma is stronger, faster, and more beautiful than ever. But her new powers come with a terrifying price. And as she uncovers the truth, she’s is forced to choose between staying with those she loves—or entering a new world brimming with dark hungers and unimaginable secrets.

I also found a couple of books that I thought would be intresting. Has somebody read them yet? Let me know.

I also got a lot of ebooks (series and single books) on my computer. PM me a title of a book, Maybe I have them and I'll send it in a mail to you. (I have all of the books on my e-reader and a lot more)

English

Yeah, my blog is now in english :D
Finally!!!

But I have a lot to translate.
- About me
- book review
- books i've read: harry potter, house of night, tempest, fallen, den of shadows
And something else to but I forgot what. :p

I made the links today with bloglovin and networked blogs, jeeh.

And I have links to the other language to. :D See the little flag thingies on the right sight. Searched a long time to find them. But I did woohoo! And i made an english facebook page, so you can also check that one out.

I'm still reading in Thempest Unleashed, but I don't know if i'm going to read the next one, Thempest Released. The Unleased version bores me a little. So I hope the action starts soon.

Who has read these books? Do you want to tell me your opinion? Don't be afraid to leave a review!!

Do they agree?

“And you just stood there and let him talk,” Kona continued. “You didn’t even bother to tell him we were together!”

p 180 of Tempest Unleashed

Kano and Tempest don't agree on certain subjets?? Is it going to be ok. I do hope so.
I'm on page 180 of the 296 pages. 100 Pages to go :D

But I hope that the action quickly starts. Certain parts are a little boring but you have to keep going. The only thing that keeps me reading is that I want to know how it ends. So let the action start! But I think that were nearly there. Lets keep going. :D
